Great Job!

On December 8th, 2016, Missouri University of Science and Technology experienced a fire on the roof of Emerson Hall, the electrical and computer engineering building. Without hesitation, the SERVPRO disaster Recovery Team was on site to help assess the damage and guide the Facilities Management staff through the recovery process. 

The cooperation and team effort between all parties involved proved to e successful as the recovery effort of roughly 86,000 sq.ft. was completed in a 6 week period, allowing the University to partially open the facility on time for the Spring semester.

The highly trained and very professional SERVPRO staff went above and beyond their job responsibilities to ensure that all areas of the facility were cleaned and repaired to the satisfaction of Southeast Missouri State. The job performance and attention to detail by the SERVPRO staff exceeded the expectation of their slogan "Like it never even happened."

On behalf of Missouri S&T, the faculty, staff and student, we would like to thank SERVPRO for the excellent job done to ensure that Emerson Hall was restored to its original state, allowing the University to open the doors in the short time frame required.

On behalf of the Board of Education and Charleston CUSD #1 Administration, I would like to extend our appreciation to you and the SERVPRO team for the quick response and effient cleanup service after the fire at Mark Twain Elementary School on September 28, 2008. Because of your quick response, the students did not have to miss a day of school.

Whether it was securing the building, ensuring the safety of the surrounding areas, cleaning up debris, escorting insurance inspectors or retrieving a few priceless family heirlooms, your professionalism was unwavering.
